Author Bio

I've never studied writing or history in my life, so I'm well qualified to be writing historical mysteries. In fact my degree is in pure mathematics.

I wrote two novels before this series: my learning exercises. Most writers have them. Those two are now safely locked away where no one will ever see them.

Despite my technical background, I am actually capable of rubbing two words together to make a sentence.

I have one wife, two little girls, four guinea pigs, and about six thousand books. Even the guinea pigs are female, but I can’t speak for the books. Since I’m the only male in the household, I am, of course, in charge.
